Why does the least-cost modeled formula include squalane?
A facial moisturizer is made as a full 1,000 kg batch, so kilograms read directly as percentages. The water phase and emulsifier system have narrow use-level windows. The oil phase must reach 14%, and four emollients compete for it. The ingredient property scores are editable screening assumptions for this demonstration; they do not establish safety, efficacy, stability, or a regulatory claim.

Which payloads remain unassigned this cycle, and which constraint causes it?
A smallsat operator has six spacecraft ready and $22M to buy launch. Two sun-synchronous rideshares, one mid-inclination rideshare, and a dedicated small launcher are available, each at a fixed price whether it flies one payload or four. Two SAR spacecraft are a constellation pair and only work if commissioned together. An RF compatibility finding rules out flying the heliophysics payload alongside them. A cryogenic tech demo loses its funding after the first quarter, so it can only take a March vehicle. Two communications spacecraft need a 45° orbit that the sun-synchronous rideshares cannot reach.

Which tool constraint limits output, and what becomes the next limit after it is relieved?
Wafer starts pass through lithography, etch/deposition, metrology, and probe/test before becoming qualified output. Each stage can be the bottleneck, and relieving one exposes the next. Budget alone doesn't help when the binding limit is tool availability.
